In many application scenarios, sheet metal parts often need to be installed and connected with other components or assemblies. For example, buttons, switches, or electronic devices may need to be installed on the panel, and even connections between different sheet metal parts may need to be achieved. To simplify this process and ensure the stability of the connection, riveting technology is often used. Its working principle is to press the rivet nut into the preset hole of the sheet metal through embossing teeth. Due to the fact that the diameter of the preset hole is usually slightly smaller than the embossed teeth of the rivet nut, under pressure, the flower teeth of the rivet nut will squeeze into the plate, causing plastic deformation of the material around the hole. These deformed materials are squeezed into the guide groove, thereby achieving a firm locking effect.
During the installation and connection process of sheet metal parts, rivet nuts play a crucial role. Its unique working principle makes the connection process simple and efficient. Through the design of embossed teeth, the rivet nut can be easily pressed into the preset holes of the sheet metal. Due to the slightly smaller diameter of the preset holes compared to the embossed teeth, under pressure, the flower teeth of the rivet nut will squeeze into the plate, causing plastic deformation of the material around the holes. These deformed materials are cleverly squeezed into the guide groove, thereby achieving a stable locking effect.
